Notices
A macOS notice when a session waits for you or ends. A click goes back to the terminal of the session.
Widgetful sends a macOS notice when:
- a session waits for a permission or for your input,
- a session ends,
- the Mac comes near a resource limit.
To allow notices, see First run.
Go back to the session
Click a notice, or click the terminal button of a session in the panel. Widgetful brings back the terminal of that session.
| Terminal | What happens |

| Terminal, iTerm2 | Widgetful selects the tab of the session. macOS asks you one time to allow Widgetful to control the app. |
| VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Zed | The editor opens the project folder, which brings its window to the front. |
| Other apps, for example Ghostty | The app comes to the front. |
| Not known | A new Terminal window opens in the folder of the session. |
