Widgetful has four ways back to normal sleep. You do not have to remember to turn awake mode off.

Event	What happens
A guard fires	Normal sleep comes back. See Guards.
The timer or the work ends	Normal sleep comes back. See Timer and work modes.
The app quits or crashes	The helper sees that the app is gone and turns normal sleep on again.
The Mac restarts	The helper starts at boot and turns normal sleep on.

How the helper knows

The helper keeps a lease for each connection from the app. When the last connection goes away (a quit, a crash or a kill of the app), the helper turns normal sleep on again.

The pmset disablesleep setting stays after a restart. For this reason, the helper turns normal sleep on each time that it starts.

Quit Widgetful

Click Widgie in the menu bar, then click Quit (normal sleep comes back).
